LOBODIS - COFFEE FAIR
Lobodis started in 1988. From the beginning, they wanted to offer their coffee as a fair, responsible product. Coffee growers and nature in mind. In France, the Fair Trade label “Label Max Havelaar” had just been introduced in 1993. The purpose of this sign was self-evident to Lobodis; pay farmers enough that they can live normally with the input of their own work. For Lobodis, the label also guarantees that the origin is traceable to 100%, it indicates the country of growth and the taste and aromas characteristic of the variety.
25 years later, Lobodis goes even further and develops its own standard for fair trade “Act & Respect”. In addition to compensation higher than the fair market price, it guarantees additional compensation for local environmental and agricultural projects.
Today, Lobodis works with about 38 farmers ’organizations, covering a total of 5,100 farmers.
In France, Lobodis employs 72 people with intellectual disabilities, so good intentions are not limited to coffee growers.
Depending on the origin of the coffee, the taste is softer and softer to very intense and dark. Everything is united by a wonderful French soft but dark roast.
DeliDel’s selections include Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala, Mexico, Ethiopia, Sumatra, the Caribbean and an espresso blend. Coffee can be found both ground and beans.
Ground coffee is suitable for espresso machines, but it is also used to make very good filter coffee. In this case, it is worth remembering that 1 cup of coffee is enough for 2 cups of water (Finnish coffee is 1 cup of coffee per 1 cup of water)
