Le Paludier de Guérande’s fine, unrefined gray sea salt, “sel de Guérande” is made from coarse Atlantic sea salt collected from the village of Guérande. Naturally, gray and additive-free ground sea salt meets the requirements for IGP certification for local products and is an ideal supplement for all foods. It is also great as table salt.

Description
Located in the Pays de la Loire, on the Atlantic coast, the municipality of Guérande is known for its first-class salt. It is also home to Le Paludier de Guérande's local 'Guérande salt', or 'sel de Guérande' in French.
After manual collection, the salt is first drained in the sun and then dried in ancient seawater pools and ground. Naturally, the gray salt has no additives at all. It gets its gray color and high mineral content from salt marshes resting on gray clay mattresses.
