L'Italiano olive oil from the Italian Terre Francescane, as its name implies, is made from 100% Italian olives. Carefully selected olives are cold pressed into extra virgin olive oil. The main olive varieties used in the oil are Leccino, Ogliarola, Frantoio and Coratina.
The combination of these varieties produces a fruity olive oil with aromas of green, freshly pressed olives, a delicate spiciness and a pleasantly bitter aftertaste. L'Italiano olive oil is best used cold with pastas, light meats, tomatoes and mozzarella, fish and cooked vegetables. It is also great for dessert recipes and sauces.
