Terra Nostre baci di dama – classic Piedmontese biscuits. Two hazelnut shortbread cookies combined with a dark chocolate filling. ”Lady's kisses” from Tortona. 200 g.
Description
Baci di dama – literally ”lady’s kisses” – are one of Piedmont’s most beloved classic pastries. They originated in the 19th century in the city of Tortona: two small, crumbly hazelnut cookies are joined with dark chocolate to resemble lips about to kiss.
These Terra Nostre biscuits are made in the traditional way with a generous amount of hazelnuts (22–25 %), butter and wheat flour. Smooth dark chocolate is spread between the biscuits. The texture is fragile and delicately tender, the taste is richly toasted – an authentic Italian pastry delicacy.
Perfect with coffee or tea, as a dessert garnish or for a little sweet treat anytime. Warning: one thing easily leads to another. 200 g. Origin Italy.
