Lucien Georgelin's traditional Berlingots caramels - each color has its own flavor. Handcrafted from cane sugar, cooked in a pot. 150 g.
Description
Lucien Georgelin is a family business in southwestern France known for its jams and traditional sweets. The house's caramels are made exclusively from cane sugar and cooked in a cauldron the old-fashioned way.
Berlingots are classic French pillow-shaped caramels, and each color has its own flavor: green with anise, yellow with lemon, pink with raspberry, fuchsia with cherry. The production is entirely handmade: the caramel mass is rolled into a ribbon and cut with a late 19th century ”berlingotière” machine, which imitates cutting with scissors.
