These small apricots, about the size of a walnut, are gently cooked and preserved in a sugar syrup made from cane sugar. The result is a wonderfully tasty and slightly nutty tasting preserved apricot that tastes like it came straight from the tree.
Try them in desserts, with ice cream or as part of a cheese board. Apricots also go well with savoury dishes such as pork chops, duck breast and even roast chicken. And don't forget to make the most of the charming-sweet-sugary flavour in cocktails, for example!
