Description

Sumatra Mandheling coffee is named after the Mandailing people who cultivate it on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. The beans used by the French coffee roaster Lobodis are grown in a tropical climate in the volcanic region as organic production at an altitude of 1,500 to 1,655 meters. After hand-picking, the arabica coffee beans are processed using the Giling Basaj method, which is used in the world only in Indonesia. The original production method and the volcanic medium combined with the dark roasting give the coffee a particularly strong and full-bodied chocolate aroma that folds into dark sugar and finally an aftertaste of spiciness.
Preparation: Espresso machine, grinding by hand or by machine.
Dosage: 7-10 g or 1 tablespoon of ground coffee per cup.
Storage: opaque and airtight container protected from light.
Sorting: used coffee beans can be recycled as biowaste. The packaging is disposed of with incinerated waste.
