According to the old millstone carving network, the roots of the Gradassi family business date back to 1639. The family business continues and Carlo Gradassi's father is in charge of the company and e.g. son Andrea as sales director.
The company can be found in ancient Spoleto, Umbria. Looking at the map, it would seem to be right in the center of Italy.
Olive oils are pressed from 100% Italian olives. The most aromatic and intense Moraiolo variety is grown in Umbria. Other varieties include e.g. Leccino and Frantoio.
