Maison Lafitte is a family business founded in 1920 in Montaut, in the heart of the Landes in southwestern France – a specialist in traditional Landes foie gras. The products are handcrafted in small batches without additives or preservatives, from Label Rouge-raised ducks fed on traditional whole corn.
This is whole Landes duck foie gras (foie gras de canard entier) in a beautiful glass Weck jar. Just three ingredients: duck foie gras, salt, pepper – nothing extra. The texture is silky smooth and the taste is rich, buttery and truly rustic, as you would expect from traditional Landes foie gras.
Serve chilled, cut into thick slices with warm toast. Traditionally enjoyed with sweet wine (Jurançon, Sauternes) or champagne. Let warm for a moment before serving. 50 g. Origin France (Landes).
